Ealing Broadway officially kicked off its jam-packed schedule of festive fun last weekend 18 November with a range of events for the whole family to enjoy.

From live music and the return of the Christmas market to a magical snow machine and a chance to meet the main man himself, there's a whole host of festivities on offer to help get local residents and shoppers into the Christmas spirit.

Every Saturday, between 12:30pm – 5:30pm, a selection of live music acts will play on the Town Square Stage, where shoppers can singalong to some classic carols and pop hits to truly feel the Christmas cheer.

Every Wednesday - Friday, Ealing Broadway is inviting local musicians, community choirs, budding bands and potential pop stars to perform on stage. Details for applying can be found on Ealing Broadway's website: https://www.ealingbroadwayshopping.co.uk/news/performer-call-out

The Town Square Christmas Market will be open each day until Saturday 24 December, with a variety of festive-themed street food on offer.

Open from 10:30am – 6:00pm on Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm on Saturdays and 10:00am – 5:00pm on Sundays, visitors can stock up on warming mulled wine and traditional bratwurst sausages, sugared doughnuts, sweet waffles and even luxury cheese hampers. Shoppers can also get ahead on their Christmas shopping with gorgeous handmade gifts, crafts and decorations also on offer.

Families will also be able to meet Santa and his elves at Ealing Broadway on selected days from now until 24 December.

From £7 per child, a visit to Santa's Grotto will not only include a chance for little ones to make their Christmas wishes but they'll also receive an early festive treat from Santa himself. There are also group discounts available to special needs schools. All sessions must be booked in advance online here: https://www.ealingbroadwayshopping.co.uk/santa

To add to the festivities, Ealing Broadway's Town Square will be transformed in shimmering white snowflakes each day. The snow is set to fall on shoppers at 4pm, giving locals the perfect opportunity to snap a snowy selfie.

As part of its ongoing support for the community, the centre's Giving Box remains in place outside Wasabi for shoppers to donate what they can to support its local charity partners, Young Ealing Foundation and Ealing Food Bank.

Andrew Rollings, Centre Director at Ealing Broadway, said: "It's always such a wonderful time of year when we see the decorations go up and we start our Christmas celebrations at Ealing Broadway.

"There's a real mix of seasonal activities and celebrations taking place over the next few weeks, so whether you're visiting with family or friends, there's something for everyone to enjoy and well and truly get into the festive spirit."

Late night shopping returns to Ealing Broadway from the Monday 27th November, with the centre open from 9am – 8pm from Monday to Saturday, and 11am – 5pm on Sunday.
