PART of the ground floor, half of the first floor and part of the roof of a semi-detached house in Southall have been damaged by fire.

The Fire Brigade was called at around 12:30pm on Saturday, June 12, to a property on Uxbridge Road and brought the blaze under control by 1:45pm.

Four engines and around 25 firefighters from Southall, Acton and North Kensington fire stations attended the scene.

There were no reports of any injuries.
