Gunnersbury Park has received a prestigious gardening award for the third year in a row.

CIC Gunnersbury Estate was delighted to announce today (Wednesday, July 20) that the park has once again received a Green Flag Award.

Attributing the continued success of Gunnersbury Park to the dedicated hard work of the gardening team and park volunteers, the Estate congratulated the team's tireless efforts in making the local green space such an escape for Londoners to visit.

Posed in the park with their Green Flag Award 2022 flag today, the team stood against a backdrop of land left parched by the city's heatwave which they will no doubt revive.

On social media, Gunnersbury Park & Museum said: "We're delighted that Gunnersbury Park has been awarded the Green Flag Award for the third year in a row!

Congratulations to our dedicated park team and the tireless work of our garden volunteers who made this possible!"

The Green Flag Award scheme recognises and rewards well managed parks and green spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational outdoor spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world.
