Greenford: One injured as emergency services called to a suspected stabbing

Emergency services responded to a suspected stabbing incident at Sudbury Hill, Greenford yesterday (11 March) evening.

At approximately 7pm, police cars, ambulances, and an air ambulance were seen near the junction of Morden Gardens, just off Sudbury Heights Avenue.

Met Police said:  "We were called at 5:31pm on Monday, 11 March to reports of a man found injured in Sudbury Heights Avenue, Sudbury.

"Officers responded with paramedics and found a man with a suspected stab wound.

"He was taken to hospital and his condition is being assessed.

"An investigation is under way and a crime scene remains in place. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 5384/11Mar.

"There have been no arrests."

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called at 5.30pm today (11 March) to reports of a stabbing in Morden Gardens, UB6.

"We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.

"We treated one patient and took them to hospital."
