Fire at former squash club prompts evacuation of Ealing residents

A fire at an Ealing premises led to people being evacuated from their homes in Ealing this morning (Sunday, 24 July).

Residents in the area were alarmed after reporting hearing an early morning explosion in the Ealing Broadway area. Firefighters and police officers responded to emergency calls around 6am and a former squash club was found to be alight.

Police have confirmed there was a fire at business premises in Haven Green and that it was dealt with by the London Fire Service.
