Ealing has seen a minor decline in coronavirus cases, as infection rates have remain fairly level over the past month.

In the week of August 9 to 15, Ealing saw 1,022 Covid-19 cases.

That means there was a minor decrease in the number of new cases per 100,000 residents, with 300.3, compared to 312.6 the week before.

Those figures are lower than the average across England, but higher than those across London.

London as a whole had 24,885 new cases during the week of August 9 to 15, which represents 276.4 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

England saw 175,306 new cases during the same week, correlating to 310.0 cases per 100,000 people.

First dose vaccine uptake has been highest with Ealing's Walpole residents, where 58.7% have received their first dose.

Whilst East Acton has seen the lowest uptake with 43.7% having received their first dose so far.
