AN Ealing restaurant has been included in the prestigious Michelin Guide for an eleventh consecutive year.

Kiraku in Ealing Common opened to the public in 2006 and since 2010 has been the recipient of a Michelin Plate for Good Cooking from the Michelin Guide.

The Michelin Guide is an annual list featuring the best restaurants the UK has to offer.

The review said: "The name of this cute little Japanese restaurant means 'relax and enjoy' - easy with such charming service."

The co-owner and general manager of Kiraku, Takeshi Nakamura, took over the business in 2018.

He told Nub News: "We're very glad to be recognised by the Michelin Guide for an eleventh consecutive year.

"We're happy to see our quality has remained the same for all these years.

"That's why we've had some of London's most famous sushi chefs come and eat at our restaurant."

Nakamura's sister company also owns fellow Japanese restaurants Yashin Ocean House and Yashin Sushi, both located in Kensington.

"Although they haven't been recognised by the Michelin Guide yet, our goal is to make them as successful as Kiraku," added Nakamura.
