Light up the Lane returns this Sunday for a jam-packed afternoon of food, lights, local performances and general festivities.

Since 2001 the Pitshanger Community Association (PCA) has run the event that celebrates local traders and all that is Pitshanger.

Here is what to expect from the main stage, featuring music, dance and more, and a bit about the performers.

Light up the Lane main stage schedule:

16:00 - North Ealing School Choir

Nic Mayhew: "North Ealing Primary School is delighted to be opening this wonderful event this year. Our main choir has about 45 members from Years 3 to 6. The choir is looked after by Mr.Mehew, Miss Page and Mrs. McCready."

16:20 - St Benedicts School Choir

16:40 - Regent Community Brass Band

Angela Draper: "Come along and join in with the carols and Christmas songs! Raise the roof with Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, and other favourites, and have some mulled wine and mince pies to get you in the Christmas spirit !"

17:00 - Montpelier Primary Choir (Turning on Lights)

Dorothy Goodall: "We are Montpelier school choir and are very happy to be back singing together again.

"The choir leader is Mrs Goodall, who loves singing, making music herself and teaching it, too."

17:20 - Gospel Choir

Bert Rutledge: "We are Sing Gospel, founded in 2010 our 10yr anniversary concert at the Cadogan Hall was cancelled due to covid and we have been rebuilding the choir since September.

"A 90 strong choir, we were finalists on the BBC Songs of Praise 2016 Gospel Choir Of the Year, and performed twice at the London Palladium for the BBC and Magic FM, and Cadogan Hall with West End Does Christmas, as well as various recording sessions at Abbey Rd Studios.

"We rehearse on alternate Thursdays at Ada Lovelace High School School in Park View Rd Ealing. Everyone is welcome to come along and sing.

17:40 - Innovation Dance

Emma: "Innovation Dance are based on Pitshanger Lane and provide training in ballet, jazz, street dance, musical theatre and contemporary dance for kids of all ages - plus lots of classes for adults too!"

18:50 - St Barnabas Percussion

Ben Gale: "Ealing Percussion Academy has been around now for seven years and rehearses on a Thursday evening in Ealing.

"The students come from many schools in Ealing and we currently have places in the beginner and senior group so if anyone is interested, please come and see a helper at the end of the performance who can give you our details.

"We will be playing Sabre Dance, Sing Sing Sing, Fiddler on the Roof, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and a couple more finishing off with a Pulp Fiction classic!"

19:10 - Irish Dancing

Ziggy Gaca: "The Gaca (Gat-sa) Academy of Irish Dancing, run by Ziggy Gaca (Gat-sa), is based in Ealing and teaches Irish dancing to students aged from 4 upwards at Brentside High School on Wednesday and Thursday evenings."

19:40 -Me Time Pop Choir

Natasha Andrews: "The Me-Time Pop Choir is a local community choir who welcome all singers of all abilities. The focus is on fun and singing original arrangements of great songs, however across the year they perform at various events and festivals and their own annual showcase."
