Ealing: Opening week at Gordon Ramsay's new Bread Kitchen Café

By Hannah Davenport 2nd Sep 2021

Gordon Ramsay opened the first café branch of his Bread Street Kitchen restaurants in Ealing this week.

The doors opening on Monday 23 August, offering Ealing residents a taste of the Gordon Ramsay dining experience.

Commenting on the opening week, Ealing Bread Street's Operations Director Francesco Cappucci said: "Demand has been really high, we've been fully booked until the end of the week.

"We are keeping it nice and slow then taking it from there, we want to make sure the product is good."

According to Cappucci, some customers have already visited five times.

The restaurant has currently capped its capacity at 20-25 guests for breakfast, 50 for lunch and 90-100 for dinner.

Cappucci said the café is a spin off, of Ramsay's 10-year-old Bread Street Kitchen in St Paul's, but with sandwiches added to the menu to give it a, "more casual feel".

Gordon Ramsay visited the restaurant before its opening last week and posted an Instagram video for his fans.

In the video, Gordon said: "Growing up and going out to a café was somewhat special. Now to have a very own Bread Street Cafe here in Ealing, trust me, I'm so excited.

"I've always been super excited about good food in cafés and this is the launch of our very first Bread Street Café, come inside have a quick look."

The Ealing café has opened where the former Limeyard restaurant was, next to Wagamama and Turtle Bay.

Ramsay has other Bread Street Kitchens in St Pauls, Southwark and opening soon in South Place, central London.
