The South Ealing Road Post Office was closed on 24 August after being issued a section 76 order under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Northfield police issued the notice on Tuesday to prevent the continuation or reoccurrence of "nuisance or disorder".

The Save & Select Superstore from which the post office was run, has been issued the same notice and will be closed until further notice.

It is believed the action was taken due to persistent disorder in and around the premises.

The sign adds that the matter has been adjourned until Monday 6 September, where it will be addressed at the Uxbridge magistrates court.
