Renowned local music festival makes a return to Ealing with a day of free live performances in Acton this month.

Hanwell Hootie is back, following on from the much anticipated Hootie in the Meadows, which took place at the Viaduct Meadow in September.

Hootie on the Mount will offer a free day of music entertainment with live performances, as part the Love Ealing, Love Local events.

The event, on Saturday 9 October at Acton Mount, will showcase local, up-and-coming talent, hoping to bring the community to Acton's high street through the power of live music.

Acton Mount is located next to St Marys Church and Morrisons, with residents recently invited to share their thoughts on what the Mount means to them.

The programme kicks off at 11am with a performance from David Stone, follow by performances from Amy Mayson, Tommy Hare, Lola Aviva, The Wise Bloods and Emily Lee.

Supported by High Street Task Force partner Your Acton BID, and in collaboration with Action West London and Acton Market, the event will also feature an al fresco eating area where guests grab a seat and enjoy the wide range of food on offer from local businesses.

Guests will have access to a digital menu, with suggested take-away favourites from local restaurants.

The Love Ealing, Love Local event series is delivered by Ealing's High Streets Task Force, as part of its work to bring the bustle back to our high streets and support local business to recover from the pandemic.

Hanwell Hootie in Acton will take place Saturday 9 October, 11am – 5 pm, at The Mount, W39NW.

Visit the Eventbrite page for details of the performance schedule and artists.
