EALING: Firefighters respond to oil spill at building in Acton Vale

FOUR fire vehicles were at the scene responding to a diesel spill at a building in Acton Vale, today.

The London Fire Brigade were notified at 11:38 am of oil fumes detected in an office block that also contains flats, on the junction of Warple Way and The Vale, Ealing.

Firefighters found 1 litre of diesel oil spilt in the generator room.

They worked to contain the spillage and ventilate the premises.

No-one was evacuated and there were no high levels of chemicals detected.

Two fire engines and two fire rescue units were at the scene, along with other specialist equipment.

Residents have been advised to keep their windows open for ventilation.
