Ealing: Find out how to recycle your tree after Christmas
Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree after the festive day? Here is what you need to know to recycle your tree in the New Year.
Between Monday 6 January to Friday 24 January 2025, residents can leave their tree at the front edge of their property as part of the kerbside collection.
Most tree collections will happen on the same days as rubbish (black bin) schedules on alternating weeks.
Ealing Council say trees must be no taller than six feet, free of decorations, and trunks should not exceed 20cm in diameter.
Alternatively, trees can be dropped at Greenford Reuse and Recycling Centre in Greenford Road after pre-booking online.
Trees can also be recycled at one of the designated parks and open spaces across the borough which is running until Friday 24 January 2025.
Parks and open spaces
- Acton Park
- Berkeley Fields (Berkeley Avenue)
- Churchfields Park Hanwell
- Cleveland Park
- Ealing Central Sports Ground (Horsenden Lane South)
- Ealing Common (Junction of Grange Road and The Common)
- Elthorne Park (Boston Road)
- Islip Manor Park (Eastcote Lane)
