EALING Broadway Shopping Centre has brought back its much-loved deckchairs to Town Square for visitors to enjoy this summer.

With a heatwave predicted next month, the deckchairs offer shoppers a comfortable place to take in the sun while enjoying a day out.

This year, three child-sized picnic benches have also been added to Town Square, so that the younger visitors can enjoy their snacks comfortably.

Local estate agent and Ealing resident Paul Leslie, from Leslie & Co, took his son Rafferty, on a fun day out and made the most of the deckchairs, relaxing after a 'tiring' shopping spree.

Paul told Ealing Nub News: "A big 'thank you' to Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre for the deckchairs, '& Co' found them super comfy.

"There's nothing more heartwarming than your child falling asleep on you.

"I absolutely adore Rafferty, he's my big why, the reason I started my business.

"So I'm very grateful for the deckchairs which allowed me to share this special moment with my son."

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: "We're really pleased to be able to bring back the outdoor deckchairs, which we know are very popular with our customers.

"With the addition of the picnic benches, there's a space for visitors of all ages to take a break in the sunshine – whether this be while enjoying lunch, or as part of a shopping day at the centre."
