Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre prepares to welcome back shoppers next week
AS the government continues to lift the lockdown measures in the UK, the shops in Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre are preparing to open their doors once again.
Non-essential favourite stores such as H&M, River Island and Primark will be opening again on Monday, April 12, with COVID-safety measures in place.
Ealing's shopping centre will also unveil a newly refurbished Foot Locker store, enticing customers to purchase some new footwear ahead of summer.
Restaurants and cafes in Ealing such as Turtle Bay and Wagamama will also be welcoming customers back.
The restaurants will be offering socially-distanced, outdoor dining, with takeaway and click-and-collect options available too.
The Pop-Up Gallery will also be returning to the shopping centre in a new and bigger site, and there will be a range of art on display such as landscape photography, contemporary jewellery and other small gifts and cards.
Andrew Rollings, Centre Director at Ealing Broadway, said: "We know many of our customers are very excited about the reopening, and we are equally as excited to welcome them back.
"It's also a massive milestone for our retailers and we're looking forward to them opening their doors once again.
"It's of course really important that we all continue to work together to help keep everybody safe.
"Everyone visiting us in the coming weeks can expect to see all of our extra safety measures still in place and our team will be on the ground helping to remind customers of the Government guidance."
To help keep everybody safe, the centre has advised they will continue to have the one way 'keep left' system in place, hand sanitising stations and enhanced cleaning regimes.
All visitors will be required to wear a face covering unless they are exempt for medical reasons.
