A POP up art gallery in Ealing Broadway shopping centre has adapted to the new coronavirus restrictions by displaying its artwork on other shop windows.

The gallery comprises work of six different artists, brought together by Kate Winskill and originally opened up next to Vision Express in October last year .

When Ealing entered Tier 4 at the end of last month, non-essential shops were forced to close, including the gallery.

The shopping centre has allowed Winskill and co to display their artwork in shop windows on Oak Road, in order to still be able to advertise it to passers-by, who can then purchase it online.

Winskill told Nub News: "The management at Ealing Broadway have been brilliant in supporting artists during lockdown.

"Although we have a great gallery space, we had no window display, so being able to use the Oak Road premises as display has helped us keep going.

"The plan is to change the art weekly and make deliveries on the same day to minimise travel."

Anyone who's interested in buying a piece of art, can either visit 1of1design or call 07968159138.
