Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has recently announced that he will provide additional funding of £73,440 to Ealing Advice Services (EAS) and £91,000 to H4All.
The funding, announced on 19 September, will help Ealing Advice Services (EAS) continue to provide free, high quality advice and assistance in social welfare law across a range of areas to Ealing Borough residents.
Labour Assembly Member for Ealing & Hillingdon, Bassam Mahfouz, recently visited EAS Director of Services, Matthew Coulam to tell him the news.
Mahfouz said: "During these times when people have been facing increasing challenges with their finances and housing situations, services like these provide a lifeline of free, confidential and independent advice.
"The Mayor's funding will allow Ealing Advice Services to provide more preventative support, increase their telephone service and go beyond the 6,700 Ealing residents they supported last year.
"In addition to this, almost £91,000 was allocated to Hillingdon's advice consortium H4All, which will further develop health networks and social prescribing in the borough."
H4All is a local London Borough of Hillingdon partnership operating under the charity Third Sector Together North West London (3ST) to deliver various wellbeing and community services with its partners.
