After much anticipation the eight-screen cinema Ealing Picturehouse is set to open Friday, 20 October 2023.

The Ealing Picturehouse branch is located by Filmworks Walk which was originally built in 1934 as the Forum Cinema.

Audiences can now go over to the Picturehouse website (here) and book upcoming films such as Martin Scorsese's new Killers of the Flower Moon.

Ealing residents have been without a cinema in the town centre since 2008 until the Ealing Project in 2022 launched.

However, the public can now enjoy the eight-screen cinema with cafes, bars and restaurants on 20 October.

Picturehouse, owned by parent company Cineworld, now has 28 branches across the UK including the Ealing cinema.

Clare Binns, Managing Director of Picturehouse Cinemas, said: "Picturehouse is all about showing the best films from around the world: films for everyone, young and old.

"So to open in Ealing, which has such a rich history of film production, is so exciting – it's the perfect fit for a company committed to film on the big screen."

She added: "Ealing Picturehouse has been a long time coming, but we're thrilled that the moment is here and we can open our doors to this wonderful palace of film."

Ealing Picturehouse also has a Founder Membership which is now on sale.

The first 1000 customers who purchase an annual Membership for the new cinema will get their names installed in the building, on a specially commissioned Founder Members' Wall.

The Memberships will also include 15 months for the price of 12, from when the cinema opens its doors.
