A CHURCH demolition has gone wrong and has collapsed onto a neighbour's garden in South Ealing.

At round 2:45pm on Tuesday, April 27, Living Hope Church on Junction Road collapsed and 'destroyed' the neighbouring house's garden, filling it with debris.

The builders managed to escape and flee onto Carlyle Road where they waited for the emergency services to arrive.

Four police cars and one fire engine arrived on the scene and cordoned it off.

According to local residents the roof had started collapsing from the previous night (Monday, April 26) and the council along with the police had been informed.

There are no reports of any injuries.
