Car thieves targeting Fiat Abarths in Ealing

POLICE are reporting a significant increase in the number of car thefts in Ealing.
Specifically, perpetrators are targeting Fiat 500 Abarth models.
Police have publicised a number of extra precautions car owners should take in order to keep their vehicles safe.
These are:
• Lock your vehicle• Keep the keys safe
• Be aware of carjackers• Park responsibly
• Watch for illegal tow trucks• Fit good in-car security locks
• Double-check electronic locking• Before owning, check for cloning
• Secure your port
