Acton Budgens store closes down
Nub News went to check out the store on Friday evening and it had already closed down
Signs had all been taken down and the store shutters had been pulled down
The store had a closing down sale of up to 80% off
RESIDENTS were shocked to see that Budgens in Acton has suddenly closed down.
The grocery store located at 45-49 Gunnersbury Lane, put up signs last week stating that it was closing down and that there were sales up to 80% off.
The store has now permanently closed, with Nub News going to check it out on Friday evening and then again over the weekend – the shop has not reopened since.
Budgens in Acton had undergone a turbulent time these last few months, opening a new post office in January, but with many residents complaining that they never actually managed to post anything as the counter was 'always closed'.
The store then underwent a small refurbishment in March before closing for good only two months later.
