Enys Men (15)

Enys Men is a mind-bending Cornish folk horror set in 1973 that unfolds on an uninhabited island off the Cornish coast. A wildlife volunteer's daily observations of a rare flower take a dark turn into the strange and metaphysical, forcing both her and viewers to question what is real and what is nightmare. Is the landscape not only alive but sentient?

Tár, set in the international world of classical music, centres on Lydia Tár, widely considered one of the greatest living composer/conductors and first-ever female chief conductor of a major German orchestra.

Holy Spider (18)

Denmark's Official Submission to the 2023 Academy Awards, Holy Spider is a gripping and darkly atmospheric crime thriller inspired by the true story of Iran's most notorious serial killer. Set in the holy city of Mashhad, Ali Abbasi's haunting latest feature follows journalist Rahimi (Zar Amir Ebrahimi), as she investigates the murders of several sex workers by the 'Spider Killer', who believes he is on a divine mission to cleanse the city of sinners.

cheese song, a lost goat and a bushy old troll with green fingers. Garlic Theatre hold their young audience spellbound with wonderfully crafted troll puppets, live music and lots of joining in. For children 3 – 8 years.

BioPower

Farah Coppola and Betal Özay

BioPower is an intimate storytelling performance which unveils the beautiful moments but also the darker struggles of a relationship. It's a labyrinth within a labyrinth style performance. While two storytellers act out the ideal couple, their relationship on stage is strongly tested.

Reflections of An Indian Dancer

Balbir Singh with Sooraj Subramaniam

Subramaniam's deeply personal and often poetic reflections on his life journey as a dancer transport the audience into the interior world of the performer, inviting them to explore not only the dancer's but also their own sense of identity.
