FRIDAY: Trash and Treasure market at Club Brentham

Trash and Treasure is here again this Friday with a wonderful selection of local food traders to tempt the taste buds.

This week they welcome some new traders including Auntie Bonnies, who will be firing up the Jerk Pit, and Southern Kitchen bringing their southern American menu to Ealing.

There will be tables inside and out with warm blankets, top tunes, warm spiced cider and a fully licensed bar.

Maria will be on hand to keep the kids entertained with some face painting.

Find them this Friday from 5 – 9pm at Club Brentham, 38A Meadvale Road, Ealing.

SATURDAY: Community Listening Project at St Martin's Church Hall

'Do you care about this community? Are there things you would like to change? Would you like your voice to be heard?'

These are the questions the Community Listening Project hope to address on Saturday at a community listening workshop, hosted by members of St Martins Church and Ealing Citizens.

The event will take place at St Martins Church Hall, Hale Gardens, W3 9SQ this Saturday, 20 November between 2-4pm.

SATURDAY: Classical guitarist singer-songwriter performs at Ealing's Open Art Centre The Open Arts Centre Ealing invites you to come, relax and enjoy as they host an evening with classical guitarist, singer-songwriter and arranger, Didi Gold. The BYOB event will see the talented musician premiere an arrangement of a well-known theme for classical guitar. So, if you fancy 'loosing yourself in the arts' this Saturday evening, head down to Dickens Yard to 'treat yourself and have a few minutes of "me time. Happening this Saturday, 20 November with a 7.30pm start. Ticket price is £10, including a welcome drink. Event at Open Ealing Arts Centre, Unit 14 School Lane, Dickens Yard, Ealing W5 2TD. MONDAY: Art of Ceremonial music - a lecture presented by The Arts Society Ealing

A talk on the art of ceremonial music.

'The UK holds some of the biggest Ceremonial Events in the world and, arguably, the best in the world but why is that?'

Join lecturer Dr Graham Jones who started his professional life as a musician in the British Army and after a career spanning nearly forty years he retired as the Senior Director of Music, Household Division and Director of Music, Coldstream Guards.

During his career he has recorded over 40 albums and been responsible for commissioning over 30 new works.

Graham has a second career as a guest conductor, adjudicator, lecturer, recording consultant and educator.

This talk is at 7:30pm on Monday 22nd November at St Barnabas Church Hall, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing W5 1QG.
