Friday: Community Canvas art project in Southall

This family friendly session will be led by local artist, educator and therapeutic art coach Komal Madar on Friday afternoon.

The free session will focus on creating a community artwork, where visitors are invited to doodle, draw, scribble and sketch what they love about Ealing's high streets and area.

Aimed at children, but open to all, this activity is inspired by the Uniqlo TATE Play programme and the Gutai group of radical Japanese artists who sought to change the world through painting, performance and children's play.

This is the last of the two sessions put on during the Love Ealing, Local Local event programme, provided by Ealing's High Street Task Force.

The event will take place from 11am to 3pm at Southall Square, Southall.

Saturday: Halloween Pumpkin Trail at Northfields Allotments

Northfields Allotments in Ealing will hold its sixth annual Halloween Pumpkin Trail this Saturday, after a two-year gap.

Their previous trails have attracted up to 4,000, many in costume.

An impressive 150 carved pumpkins will feature on the circular trip pumpkin trail, which will lead guests past witches' grottos, glowing giant mushrooms, ethereal spirits and many other spooky decorations.

There will be homemade cakes and tea, plus produce from the allotments, as well as a barbecue, and their famous mulled wine to purchase.

The double gates on Northfield Avenue will open at 3pm and close at 7pm. Entrance is free, but a cash donation is welcome.

Sunday: Vintage and Artisan Market at Club Brentham

The Trash & Treasure crew are back at Club Brentham with their well-established local market.

They are going all out for the spooky season, with Halloween dress-up advised…

Bring your carved pumpkin along with the chance to win a free face painting session.

There will also be bobbing apples, street food, cream teas and a licensed bar with chilled out jazzy Sunday vibes.

The market will take place from 11am – 4pm at the Brentham Club, 38A Meadvale Road Ealing, W5 1NP.
