From Paris with love: Authentic French market returns to Ealing today

By Hannah Davenport 29th Oct 2021

From today, Ealing Broadway welcomes the return of the French Market to Town Square.

Back for the second time this year due to popular demand, the market will have a wide range of street food vendors from Paris for those looking for a taste of France in Ealing.

The market will be open each day from 9.30am to 6pm, with a variety of French delicacies on offer, from delicious charcuterie to fresh pastries, crepes, cheese and olives.

There will also be a selection of French wines on sale for Ealing residents to stock up on ahead of Christmas, be it an earthy Bordeaux or a fruity Sauvignon Blanc.

These can be accompanied with the wide selection of takeaway French food also on offer, including tartiflette, chicken basque and garlic potatoes.

The French Market has been a stellar addition to Ealing Broadway's food and beverage offering and last took up residence in town square during August.

Andrew Rollings, Centre Director at Ealing Broadway, said: "It's great to have the French Market back in Town Square for the second time this year and ahead of the Christmas boom.

"Visitors who missed out on the August market can stock up on delicious cheese, wines and spices, and returning fans can reminisce over their favourite French cuisine in the colder months."

Muriel Charles from France at Home, said: "We love sharing our native cuisine with the Ealing community and are thrilled to return Ealing Broadway for the second time this year.

"We have lots of exciting stalls for shoppers to browse, with our merchants on hand to help them find try new flavours or find the perfect wine for the Christmas holidays."

The market will be open from Friday, 29 October through to Sunday, 7 November.
