EALING has seen an increase in the number of new coronavirus cases, following last week's decrease.
Specifically, there was an increase of over 45% of new cases in the latest COVID-19 figures that were released.
In the week of May 17 to 23, Ealing saw 154 new positive cases, compared to 106 the week before.
That figure represents an increase of 45.3%, with 48 more new cases.
That means there was also an increase in the number of new cases per 100,000 residents, with 45.1, compared to 31.0 the week before.
Those figures continue to be higher than the average across both London and England.
London as a whole had 2,024 new cases during the week of May 17 to 23, which represents 22.6 new cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
England saw 13,572 new cases during the same week, correlating to 24.1 cases per 100,000 people.
