The Ealing half marathon confirmed it will definitely go ahead this September, after receiving 1,000 more runners.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event had run into doubt and required a further 1,000 entries to take place.

This target was achieved, and the Ealing Half Marathon not-for-profit organisation announced yesterday that the race is on.

The Ealing run has been voted the best half marathon in the UK three years in a row, with this year's race inspired by the legacy of London 2012.

Entries were offered a Covid guarantee that a refund would be given if the event could not go ahead.

Ealing Half Marathon thanked the community support they received, through race entries, donations and social media, for helping to make it happen.

The run will take place on Sunday 26 September at 9am, starting at Lammas Park.

If running's not for you but you want to get involved on the day then check out their volunteer opportunities Here.
