EALING Council teams have been out in full flow during the past 24 hours delivering home testing kits to households across the affected areas in West Ealing and Hanwell.

Following the announcement on Monday, February 1 that a local resident had tested positive for the South African variant, the Council set up a testing centre at Dean Gardens car park but is also delivery home kits to around 5,500 households.

All residents, even those without symptoms are asked to get tested.

The home delivery started yesterday, February 3 and will continue until next Tuesday, February 9.

The deliveries are made between 8am and 8pm and kits will be picked up two hours later.

In the case of someone not being at home, team members will make sure to come back again later as well.

This comes as on Tuesday, February 2 all slots for the Dean Gardens car park centre had been fully booked and residents were advised to wait for their home kits to be delivered instead.
