Today's weather: Highs of 7 degrees and lows of 4 degrees, just overcast all day, according to the Met Office, with wind gusts between 3 – 9 mph.

Traffic: As of 8:10am, according to the AA Traffic, delays of eight minutes and delays easing on A406 North Circular Westbound between Hillcrest Road and Kingsbridge Avenue. Average speed five mph.

Slow traffic on A40 into town from A437 Long Lane (Hillingdon Circus) to A4000 Wales Farm Road (Gypsy Corner). Usual queues at South Ruislip, Greenford to Hanger Lane, and Park Royal to Acton.

Delays of one minute and delays easing on A406 North Circular Westbound between Abbey Road (Park Royal Interchange) and Hanger Lane (Hanger Lane Gyratory System). Average speed ten mph.
