Introduction

Everything you want to achieve, change or improve in your life begins with awareness - which is what mindfulness is. The benefits of mindfulness include reduced stress, greater focus, pain management, increased happiness and emotional regulation and it's the first component in my Kindfulness Effect formula!

About the workshop

This introductory workshop will provide you with a basic introduction to mindfulness and its powers! I will also share with you details about my upcoming and life-changing 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course, should you want to take your mindfulness journey to the next level.

  • Some simple strategies and techniques so you can start using mindfulness straight away

About me

I'm Melissa, the founder and owner of The Kindfulness Effect. I live in Teddington, so I'm local to your area :-)

I'm passionate about wellbeing for all and my mission is to educate, inspire and empower and to make the world a better place with awareness, kindness & gratitude, one person at a time. The Kindfulness Effect is a movement - and it starts with you!

I am a mindfulness, meditation and yoga teacher, offering a weekly schedule of free meditation classes and also yoga classes. I write and provide workshops to groups, corporate businesses and teach classes to children. I am qualified to teach the globally recognised Mindfulness Based Reduction Course - a transformational 8 week life-skills course based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn.
