Self defence classes in Ealing

Gain the confidence to walk in peace, defend yourself and fight back if needed with FREE self defence sessions for women in West London.

About this event

The Gauntlet Fight Academy and Total Krav Maga have teamed up with West London's Ealing based MET Police in a community project backed by Ealing Council, to run a series of FREE weekend self defence classes for all women and girls, and particularly those who may have been victims of violence, and domestic abuse.

Our FREE Self defence classes will be running twice a month for the remainder of 2022. You can join us for 1 session, or come every month, depending on your schedule. We aim to give our students the confidence to defend themselves and fight back, as well as develop awareness to be able to de-escalate and avoid confrontational behaviour.

Instructors Nick Maison is an expert grade in Krav Maga, and founder of Total Krav Maga, and Professor Neto Nunes is a third degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and founder of The Gauntlet Fight Academy. They are two of the most recognised martial arts coaches in their disciplines in the UK.

Coaches Nick and Neto will be fusing techniques from both Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to delivery a comprehensive but easy to learn, and enjoyable course over the period of 7 months.

Women and girls of all backgrounds are welcome to participate. We accept teenagers from 13 and up.

About The Gauntlet Fight Academy:

The Gauntlet Fight Academy sits in the heart of Ealing Broadway. We are easily accessible by tube and train to Ealing Broadway station, from which we are just a 2 minute walk across Haven Green. Ealing is also well served by bus routes across West London, and there is also a multistorey car park on spring bridge road, just 2 doors down from us, and it's £1 on weekends.

The Gauntlet is a family run Academy which is safe, clean and has a great atmosphere. We're run by a husband and wife team so being family friendly and inclusive has always been top of our agenda. We have 200sqm of mats and a ladies changing room with shower.

If you have any questions at all about the course, coaches or facilities before signing up, please feel free to get in touch via email at [email protected]
