A trio of goals in the space of ten first half minutes saw Hanwell Town's wretched run continue with a 3-1 defeat in Wales against Merthyr Town.
Thomas Handley gave the hosts the lead before the Geordies struck back through Abdul Osman inside 25 minutes.
A quick double salvo for Merthyr courtesy of Lewis Powell and Ricardo Rees meant that all three points remained in South Wales.
Defeat means that it is now just one win in 11 for Hanwell as they fall to 15th place in the Southern League Premier South table.
Both sides had early chances to take the lead as first Kain Adom had his effort saved by Will Fuller before a low ball across the face of goal was just too far ahead of Rees for him to convert the chance.
The hosts then took the lead after Handley worked room on the edge of the box to get his shot off and he drove his effort low beyond the dive of Ravan Constable.
It took just four minutes for the Geordies to restore parity as Mat MacKenzie hurled a long throw into the area and Osman anticipated the flight best to get on the end of it and turn the ball home.
Just a minute after getting back on level terms Hanwell gave away a penalty for which Isaac Olorunfemi was booked, Powell stepped up and sent Constable the wrong way to score.
The mad ten minutes was concluded on the half hour mark as Merthyr secured themselves a two-goal cushion as a swift counter attack from the hosts ended with Rees having the simplest of tasks to tap in his team's third.
Harry Rush won a free-kick in a good area after being brought down by Jamie Adams, Dan Carr whipped an effort on target but Fuller was equal to it and tipped the shot around the post.
Five minutes into the second half another MacKenzie long throw caused problems when Keano Robinson got up highest to win the header, but it went straight at Fuller.
The Geordies continued applying pressure with Olorunfemi having a shot blocked from the edge of the area that came back out for Carr, but his effort flicked off a defender and behind for a corner.
Fuller was by far the busier goalkeeper in the second half as he had to be at his best to save MacKenzie's fierce free-kick, but the 'keeper got a strong enough hand to it to make the stop.
In stoppage time yet another MacKenzie long thrown nearly ended up in the back of the net, this time Calum Duffy got on the end of it, but Fuller was there to make the save and Merthyr almost went coast to coast to add a fourth, but Rees' final ball let them down.
