Ealing Nub News is delighted to announce Leslie & Co as its exclusive Property sponsor.

Similarly to Ealing Nub News, Leslie & Co was launched in 2020, under the leadership of Paul Leslie and Rachel Watts.

Both Paul and Rachel have been in property for nearly a decade and met when they started working together at a well-known estate agency in West London.

After many years in the industry, Paul had a 'Jerry Maguire' moment as he describes it and decided it was all about working with fewer clients and giving them more personal attention.

Paul said: "We prefer to work with our clients in a personal way, spending time understanding their goals, drives and motivations whilst trying to ensure we all get the best possible outcome together.

"That's why we refer to ourselves as a bespoke agency.

"Our motivation is to do things with more trust and transparency and restore people's faith in estate agents."

The team is made up of Paul and Rachel, along with Paul's young son Rafferty and their dog Daphne.

They argue that the fact that it's just two of them works in their favour and helps create a better relationship with clients.

Rachel said: "From the moment someone picks up the phone or sends an email, to the moment they sign the contracts and move into their new house, they're dealing from start to finish with either myself or Paul.

"We don't pass them on to a different person at every new step along the way, instead we're right there beside them.

"This helps build a close relationship with our applicants and at the same time also helps us understand exactly how we can help them."

Leslie & Co are associated with Keller Williams, who are the largest estate agency in the world.

Rachel added: "We can offer this very personable approach for clients, but at the same time we have this massive support network behind us."

Paul's connection to Ealing runs very deep.

Apparently his father was so fond of the area, that he proposed to Paul's mother on Ealing Common.

Although Paul is originally from Pinner, he's lived in Ealing for the past four years and he managed to persuade Rachel to move over from St Margarets.

Paul said: "People actually call me a walking advertisement for the area, that's how much I love it.

"Even when I worked as a relocation agent many years ago, I would always suggest Ealing as an alternative to Chiswick and Richmond.

"Ealing is fantastic, there's such a diversity in properties available, from listed buildings, to conversions, to the new-builds in Dickens Yard, there's just so much potential for someone in the property industry."

Rachel added: "I've been converted and have lived in Ealing for over a year now.

"What won me over is the vast amounts of green spaces and the amazing people here, you feel like you're in the suburbs in such a community centred area, but at the same time you've got amazing connections to Central London."

Commenting on Leslie & Co becoming the property sponsor for Ealing Nub News, Paul said: "We're very happy to be partnering with Ealing Nub News, because local, community-based interactions sit at the heart of what we do.

"We wanted to partner with someone who can showcase that we are different and can be trusted, and we wanted to partner with a local news outlet that enables us to communicate with the public, and Ealing Nub News does exactly that."

Karl Hancock, CEO of Nub News, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with a local business such as Leslie & Co.

"Its values are echoed throughout Nub News, and we are so pleased to be working with the team and helping our readers find a home with Leslie & Co."
