Membership of the Ethical Agent Network (EAN) isn't for everyone – in fact, only one agent per area can join (that's if they meet a strict criteria).

A common perception of estate agents is that they're dodgy, smarmy, untrustworthy and unethical.

This is where Leslie & Co pride themselves on being different.

Online presence

Estate agencies that are part of the EAN must have received at least 50 Google Reviews, with an overall score of more than 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This ensures a public and quantifiable affirmation of their service quality.

Leslie & Co has over 160 Google reviews and a five-star score.

Evaluation process

This process involves a thorough interview where Leslie & Co's review history and customer feedback were scrutinised, ensuring their interactions consistently met high standards.

Compatibility check

Leslie & Co's compatibility with the EAN's ethos was assessed, ensuring alignment with the network's principles.

Providing a 'personal service focused on people above profits' played a key part in Leslie & Co's access to the EAN.

Consultation with EAN's advisory team

EAN's advisory team is composed of top ethical estate agents which has further validated Leslie & Co's commitment to ethical conduct.

Engagement with community

Leslie & Co's engagement with the community was also reviewed, highlighting its positive impact beyond transactions.

Commitment to EAN's guiding principles

Central to its acceptance was Leslie & Co's pledge to uphold the EAN's guiding principles by signing the Members' Promise.

We promise to:

  • Always act in our clients' best interests.
  • Always tell the truth – simple.
  • Do the right thing even if it costs us time, money, or both.
  • Never criticise our rival agents as it undermines our profession.
  • Respect the members' area exclusivity rule.
  • Share ideas, tips, issues and advice with fellow members.
  • Support the local community whenever and wherever we possibly can.
  • Strive towards being a carbon-neutral business.
  • Respect and invest in our team's learning and development.

Investment into staff learning and development

This commitment ensures continuous improvement and adaptability - which is crucial for maintaining excellence in the rapidly evolving property industry.

In an industry often characterised by scepticism, Leslie & Co's membership within the EAN provides a sense of trust and ease for its clients.

Their inclusion in the EAN not only reaffirms their dedication to providing an ethical service, but also positions them as leaders in setting ethical standards within Ealing's real estate community.
