VICTORIA Hall Trust could be 'lost to the community' under a new scheme drawn up by the Charity Commission, campaigners have warned.
Campaign group the Friends of Victoria Hall (FOVH) are hitting out a new document from the charity watchdog which sets out how the historic hall should be governed under its transfer to hotel developer MastCraft in the town hall sell-off.

YEAR 8 students at Notting Hill and Ealing High School have managed to raise over £2,500 for the Alzheimer's Society.
Despite some of their schooling taking place online, the students raised the money through various fundraising activities such as sponsored runs, walks and bake sales - one student managed to swim 30km while also completing 100 netball shots a day.
THE pedalos at Gunnersbury Park have once again returned and just in time for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

LOW traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) had no measurable effect on London Fire Brigade response times last year, according to new data.
London Fire Brigade's annual report on incident response times revealed that it had not yet noticed any impact on attendance times as a result of low traffic neighbourhoods being put in place.
