EALING developer, Broadway Living and its development, Copley Hanwell, have been shortlisted for two awards at the Planning Awards 2021.

Copley is part of Ealing Borough's plans to deliver 2,500 new affordable homes by 2022.

A MAN has been sentenced to life in prison for murder, after fatally stabbing a 26-year-old to death in West Ealing.

Ismail Yusuf, 20, of Hanger Lane, was found guilty murdering Mehran Heydari on April 30 and was sentenced on May 4.

LABOUR candidate Dr Onkar Sahota has held on to his Greater London Assembly (GLA) seat and will represent Ealing and Hillingdon for a third term.

REMAINING London bus strikes have been called off after the bus company, London United voted to accept a revised pay offer.

The next strikes, due to take place today (May 8) and tomorrow (May 9), have been cancelled.
