THE PTA at Grange Primary School in South Ealing has organised a Summer Sale for this Sunday, July 4.

Vice-Chair of Grange PTA, Jo Wiltshire, told Ealing Nub News: "In light of the Government's extension to COVID restrictions, Grange Primary is unable to host its popular Summer Fete that helps raise essential funds for books and school equipment.

ON behalf of Ealing Liberal Democrat council group, I raised an oral question in the full council meeting that any consultation must consult both those who surround an LTN (Low Traffic Neighbourhood scheme) as well as those living in an LTN, and Ealing Labour agreed to that.

This week, the Council delivered consultation leaflets to the doorsteps in or around the nine LTNs.

EALING Council's leader is 'insulting' residents by refusing to meet the Conservative opposition to discuss Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs), councillors have complained.

Peter Mason, the borough's Labour leader, reportedly told his opposition 'when it's your turn, we will be in touch,' when they asked to meet after his election in May.

RESIDENTS in Olde Hanwell will have the chance to take part in a Jumble Trail this Sunday, July 4.

Organised by Anna Elliott and St Mark's School PTA, local residents will be able to set up a stall in their front gardens and sell their unwanted items, books, clothes, plants, arts and crafts, homemade cakes or jams, furniture and anything else they want (apart from alcohol and cigarettes).

LIBERAL Democrat's newest MP Sarah Green's recent victory in the Chesham and Amersham parliamentary by-election was won by an unprecedented 25% swing from what was considered an ultra-safe Tory seat.

This was largely due to anger about more Tory planning legislation, which allows and encourages developers to build on Green Belt land without objections or consultations with the community.
