A Southall jeweller has been ordered to pay more than £7,500 in fines and court costs after offering gold for sale without an official hallmark.
Sixteen gold rings, one gold pendant, and two three-piece gold pendant sets were seized from Waseem Jewellers, 130 The Broadway, Southall by Trading Standards during their inspection for all failing to display the legally required hallmark.
A man was jailed on Tuesday after he spiked an Ealing pub goer's drink with the intention of sexually assaulting him.
Eamon Kelly, 58, of Bramber Court, Ealing, was sentenced to two years and four months' imprisonment at Harrow Crown Court on Tuesday, 30 November.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Rishmeet Singh in Southall.
The teenager was arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 2 December and is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Friday, 3 December.
