Ealing's Trash & Treasure markets announced that just over £800 has been raised from their raffles so far over the last year for local charities.
Prizes were donated by Coyle Dowling Real Estate agency, with tickets bought by the Ealing community at the independent markets that take place across the borough.

A man was jailed yesterday for causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a collision in Ealing in 2019.
Investigations found Rizwan Waheed Chaudhry, 21, had been travelling at a speed no less than 83mph, but more likely close to three figures, before the crash, which left a young man with life changing injuries.

There are over 2,600 more infections of Covid-19 than a week ago within the borough of Ealing.
According to the latest statistics (December 15 - December 22), 5,210 people tested positive in Ealing over the last seven days – 2,611 more than the week leading up to December 22.

Horsenden West meadows will not be the site of a techno music festival which is looking at locations in Ealing for its 2022 two-day event.
News that Junction 2 festival could be held on the nature reserve in north Ealing received a strong reaction from residents with over 1,400 people signing a petition in 24 hours against the idea.

A petition to stop a music festival being hosted next summer at a nature reserve in north Ealing amassed over 1,000 signatures in 24 hours of being set-up.
The petition to 'Stop Ealing Council and Junction 2 Music Festival from destroying Horsenden Meadows' was started by Sean McCormack of Ealing Wildlife Group at 9:30pm on Monday, 20 December.

A man was jailed on Monday after he drove through a red light on his moped in Acton, Ealing and struck and seriously injured a three-year-old girl.
Raaid Ressaf, 19, of Medway Gardens, Wembley, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years' imprisonment and disqualified from driving for 21 months (to start when he is released from prison). He must also pass an extended driving test when he is eligible to drive again.
