A woman has been jailed after she pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of her daughter following the tragic death in Ealing last September.
Martina Madarova, 41, of Leyborne Avenue, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday, 28 January charged with the murder of her five-year-old daughter Alijah Thomas.

London charity, Spear, reported that in 2020/21, 1,017 people accessed their services and they provided housing for 200 people.
Police are hunting three men after a teenager was stabbed following an attacked on a bus in Ealing.
Detectives have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the stabbing which took place on a bus in Ealing on Wednesday, 29 December.

Fire engines being called out to emergencies are being delayed by traffic calming measures – and in Ealing the hold-ups have nearly doubled in a year.
The number of callouts delayed by traffic calming initiatives increased from 59 to 106 between 2020 and 2021, statistics published by the London Fire Brigade (LFB) show.

Holocaust Memorial Day is held on 27 January each year to remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of other people killed under the Nazi's persecution in the 1930s and 40s.
