CATERING staff at Ealing schools will be paid the London Living Wage (LLW) from August, Ealing Council has announced.
Last month the Council was branded a 'disgrace' for failing to make sure that catering staff at Ealing schools were being paid the LLW for the last eight years, since it became an accredited living wage employer.

AN Ealing curry house has been urging residents to order directly from their local restaurants, instead of using platforms such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
Manik Miah, owner of Haweli in West Ealing told Nub News: "External delivery platforms take around 30-35% commission plus VAT, so it leaves owners with very little to cover our expenses.

A PETITION has been launched to replace trees that have been felled at Boston Manor Park and to make it 'better - and greener'.

A MAN and a woman have been sentenced to prison for drug dealing following their arrest in Northolt.
On May 28 2020, officers entered the Grand Union Canal path in Northolt and detained two individuals suspected of dealing drugs to local users.

NEARLY £1.5 million has been paid in PCN fines since the introduction of the Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) trials in Ealing.
