THE annual Open House London Festival taking place across the city allows people free access to venues usually closed to the public.
The events will take place from 4 – 12 September with central Ealing featuring two destinations to explore along with several guided tours.

WORK is under way on 68 council-owned houses and flats in South Ealing to be retrofitted, a new energy efficient building insulation method.
The buildings will be wrapped up like a 'tea cosy', in a protective external insulation, powered by roof solar panels and installed with air source heat pumps and ventilation.

SOUTHALL station is the latest to benefit from a renovation ahead of the opening of the Crossrail Elizabeth line in the first half of 2022.

Three men and a woman have been sentenced to a total of 25-and-a-half years in jail for their role in the false imprisonment of a man from Acton and the blackmail of his family.
The incident took place on 22 March 2020 when the hostage was held against his will at an address in Burlington Gardens, Ealing.
