The competition, organised by Greener Ealing, Ealing Council's refuse, recycling and grounds maintenance contractor, invited young artists to create a piece of art with a positive environmental message.

The Ealing half marathon confirmed it will definitely go ahead this September, after receiving 1,000 more runners.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event had run into doubt and required a further 1,000 entries to take place.

Double murder suspect found in Ealing

A man wanted in connection with a double murder was found by police near Ferrymead Avenue, Ealing, just before 6pm last night.

Officers are "confident" the man is 49-year-old Lee Peacock who was seen at North Wembley station the evening two people were killed in Westminster, on 19 August.
