Woman, 73, killed in crash with lorry on Greenford Road

Detectives investigating a fatal collision in Ealing are appealing for witnesses or anyone who nearby to the scene to come forward.

Police were called shortly after 2pm last Friday (October 28) to reports of a lorry in collision with a pedestrian at Greenford Road, Ealing.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended. Despite their efforts, the female pedestrian, aged 73, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family was informed and are being supported by specialist officers

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene. There has been no arrest.

Enquiries are ongoing by detectives from the Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
