Thursday: Statues Past, Present and Future?

How can statues, municipal signage and street furniture be made fit for purpose in the 21st century? Should public monuments to slave traders and imperialists continue to have pride of place across the capital or is a complete review of them necessary or desirable?

Join heritage consultant S.I. Martin at Ealing Central Library for a look at the changing roles, functions and profiles of London's monuments.

Friday: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Tennessee Williams's Pulitzer Prize-winning play follows a Mississippi family in America's deep south as they must finally untangle the web of deceit they've created for themselves.

Brick and Maggie reunite with their extended family to celebrate Big Daddy's birthday. But when faced with the shattering truths of their own marriage, how will they protect their family from falling apart? Sexual tensions, lies, and betrayals boil to the surface in this iconic classic.

Saturday: Poles in Ealing

A stroll round Central Ealing seeking Polish connections past and present, between 1-3pm.

Meet outside Ealing Broadway Station.

  • Doors open at 6pm, display at 7.45pm
  • BBQ'S, PIZZA and CHICKEN WINGS Stalls

  • Children's Fun Rides and Glow Novelties
  • Request for attendees to use public transport. Ealing Cricket Club is just a short walk from Ealing Broadway or North Ealing Underground Stations



Saturday: The Brentham Club & Trash&Treasure FIREWORKS NIGHT

The Brentham Club are back with their Fantastic Firework Display on Saturday 5th November, this year joined by The Trash&Treasure Markets Street Food Crew.

Opening at 5.30pm so you can bring the kids along early to eat & enjoy the "Kids Zone" before the Fireworks at 7.30pm.

Fluro Face Painting & Hair Braiding by the lovely, a Creative Glitter Art Workshop by and Special Kid size portions by all the food traders to keep your little ones happy.

Fair ground rides & a kids disco all on the back meadow.

Sunday: Free Cheeseboard Sunday

The first Sunday of every month is Free Cheeseboard Sunday at The Dodo Micropub.

Sourced from Cheddar Deli in Northfields, washed down with the pub's usual amazing drinks line up.

Bookings are recommended but room is kept for walk ins. Open from 12-5pm on Sunday and when it's gone it's gone!
