Ealing Farmer's Market

Ealing is a well-established farmers' market with lots of regulars who know their stall holders by name. Expect to find raw milk, fresh fish from the Dorset coast, heritage apples from Essex, Isle of Wight tomatoes, and much more.

Root veg in January, wild garlic in March, asparagus and strawberries in May, peas in June, cherries in July, apples and plums from August, corn in September, game in October, celery in November, turkeys in December!

Please bring your own bags and food containers to market to save using new plastic. Help us to REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.

9am - 1pm.

Syon Bark!

This Saturday Syon Park will be opening their beautiful gardens for the very first time to Dogs!

The park sees a great deal of dogs walking past every day and so they have come to know and love their regulars, and even keep treats ready, but the gardens are never usually open for doggies to explore, so for one day only, they will welcome big doggos, medium woofers, small floofs, and teeny tiny pupsters to come into the gardens (with a responsible adult).

But please pick up after your dog and they must be kept on a lead to avoid scaring the wildlife. It will be a lovely morning and park staff will be handing out poo bags, treats and there'll be water for thirsty doggies. What a pawfect day!

It's all in aid of Woodgreen Animal Charity! (you may have seen them on Channel 4's The Dog House).

£1 per dog to explore Syon Gardens (normal entry fee applies for humans)

Saturday, September 10 - Sunday, September 11

Borough of Ealing Art Trail

The annual open studios take place over two consecutive weekends in September and provide a rare opportunity to meet local creators. This year we have 200+ artists taking part over 68 venues.

The trail has everything from paintings and ceramics to textile art and hand-crafted metalwork.

Weekend dates are 10/11 September and 17/18 September.

Please visit the website for information on locations and artists, or pick up a trail brochure where you see them in shops and libraries across Ealing.

Free Women's Self Defence Course at The Gauntlet Fight Academy

The Gauntlet Fight Academy and Total Krav Maga have teamed up with West London's Ealing based MET Police in a community project backed by Ealing Council, to run a series of FREE weekend self defence classes for all women and girls, and particularly those who may have been victims of violence, and domestic abuse.

Their FREE Self defence classes will be running twice a month for the remainder of 2022. You can join us for 1 session, or come every month, depending on your schedule. They aim to give their students the confidence to defend themselves and fight back, as well as develop awareness to be able to de-escalate and avoid confrontational behaviour.

Instructors Nick Maison is an expert grade in Krav Maga, and founder of Total Krav Maga, and Professor Neto Nunes is a third degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and founder of The Gauntlet Fight Academy. They are two of the most recognised martial arts coaches in their disciplines in the UK.

Coaches Nick and Neto will be fusing techniques from both Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to delivery a comprehensive but easy to learn, and enjoyable course over the period of 7 months.

Women and girls of all backgrounds are welcome to participate. We accept teenagers from 13 and up.
