W4 Youth and Rocks Lane Sports Trust are excited to announce that they are partnering to progress to the next stage of building the new W4 Youth & Community Centre in Southfield Recreation Ground as well as other potential projects to enhance the facilities available to the community in Southfield Recreation Ground.

Sally Chacatté, W4 Youth Founder and Chair, said: "Rocks Lane has always been very close to our hearts as it's where our son found much solace in his teenage years after the incident that happened to him back in 2009. Partnering with Rocks Lane Sports Trust is an exciting next step in W4 Youth's journey on the development of the W4 Youth & Community Centre and other plans for Southfield Recreation Ground. Our purpose and values are totally aligned and we look forward to all that it brings in the future."

Chris Warren, MD of Rocks Lane said: "I'm excited to expand our work together and to create a partnership between The Rocks Lane Sports Trust and W4 Youth to create The W4 Youth & Community Centre and associated community facilities for local people and especially the younger members of our community. I have very fond memories of regularly playing sport at my local youth club in Yorkshire."

The new partnership has been invited to join the Ealing Consortium for the Football Foundation PlayZones project where a number of parks in the Ealing Borough will receive Football Foundation funding to renovate or build a PlayZone and where Southfield Recreation Ground has been identified as a potential park to renovate the existing area where people play basketball and five a side football and to potentially build a new PlayZone.

The new partnership alongside Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will be hosting a Community Fun Event from 12 noon on Saturday 30th September to answer any questions on the plans for Southfield Recreation Ground including the new W4 Youth & Community Centre, the W4 Youth & Rocks Lane Sport Trust partnership and future plans for the park.
