Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a violent road rage incident in Feltham with the Met Police releasing an e-fit image.

On Tuesday, 2 April police were notified about an assault that had taken place on Friday, 16 February.

The victim, a 79-year-old man, was driving along Staines Road at around 4pm, when his vehicle was blocked by another.

A man, described as a white man aged in his 30s with light brown hair and a beard, blocked his route.

Following this, an argument broke out and the victim was assaulted – he has been left with life changing injuries.

Detective Constable Rory Atkins from West Area Command Unit said: "We have been made aware that two elderly women witnessed the attack, the two women also came to the aid of the victim after he had been assaulted.

"We are keen to hear from these two women and hope that speaking with them will help us find the person responsible."

An e-fit image has been created based on descriptions of the suspect. We believe the suspect was driving a light blue car at the time of the attack.
