UNIVERSITY of West London (UWL) students are set to return to in-person classes from September.

Assuming the government guidelines stay the same, UWL plans to resume all teaching and learning activity on campus.

The decision means that anyone applying for a course can be sure that the university is committed to providing access to in-person teaching and extensive facilities in the upcoming academic year.

Professor Anthony Woodman, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UWL, explained the importance of the decision, following student feedback.

He said: "We know our students want to be back on-campus, making full use of the great facilities we have to offer and benefiting from a vibrant, dynamic and engaging university community.

"Many universities will be looking to continue to deliver lectures and seminars online, and for some students, this may be an effective form of learning.

"But we know that our students choose UWL because of our outstanding facilities, access to industry know-how and the type of teaching that is best delivered in-person.

"That is why we are planning to return to in-person teaching for all sessions and to open up our fantastic facilities so students can develop the skills they need for their future careers.

"I can't wait for our campus to spring back to life again."
