TWO former students from the University of West London (UWL) have opened a new podcast and voice over studio in North Acton.

Paris and Christian opened the studio on May 10 and they have been using it to record podcasts for their own media production company, Fresh Media Productions.

The pair also hope the podcast studio will be a way for young people in the area to get involved in media production too.

Paris told Ealing Nub News: "We wanted to open a studio because it's convenient for us to be able to use it whenever we want, but we also want to give people the opportunity to start their own podcasts too.

"It's usually really expensive to use recording equipment, we are the most affordable in the area because we want young people to be able to use the resources."

Paris also works as a film director, while Christian works as a producer.

They are currently working on a film called Deon which highlights the issue of knife crime for young people in London.

Paris said: "We want to see more young people getting creative, so they can put down the knives and pick up the podcast headphones instead.

"A lot of things can start when you're young, but you just need access to the equipment."
